Answers to Common Questions About Nutrition 101 for Your Patients
Nutrition 101 is a 4-week, self-paced, evidence-based course developed by Registered Dietitian Julie Hill. It provides patients with foundational nutrition education to support treatment protocols and improve adherence to clinical recommendations.
The course is suitable for anyone who needs guidance on foundational nutrition principles, including patients managing chronic conditions, metabolic concerns, or lifestyle-based health goals.
No. Nutrition 101 is strictly an educational resource and does not provide medical treatment or individualized clinical advice. Patients are encouraged to continue following their healthcare provider’s recommendations.
Nutrition 101 is delivered over 4 weeks in short, self-paced modules. Each module combines clear explanations, practical examples, and actionable tools so patients can gradually apply what they learn without feeling overwhelmed.
By providing structured nutrition education outside the clinic, the course helps patients better understand and follow your recommendations. This can save time during visits, reduce confusion, and improve patient engagement and outcomes.
Providers can share the Nutrition 101 flyer and contact details with patients, who then enroll directly. For providers who want more information or a walkthrough of the course, a brief consult is available to discuss how the program complements patient care.

"If you are beginning your nutrition health journey or just brushing up on your knowledge, Nutrition 101 is the place to start. This class gave me everything I needed to reinvigorate my journey. I learned how to build a meal from start to finish, what and how much to eat, and what to minimize or avoid. Julie provides a stress-free environment where you can learn. I recommend this classvto everyone."

This is a great way to learn about nutrition and the foods we eat. The knowledge I am gaining will help me choose the right foods to fuel my body and keep me on the right track to a healthy future.
I also like being able to go back and reread the information and refresh my memory on what I have learned.
