Support Patients Beyond the Exam Room

Most providers recognize the importance of nutrition in supporting treatment outcomes. However, limited visit time and competing priorities often make it difficult to address nutrition in depth during routine care.

As a result, patients may leave with an incomplete understanding of how nutrition supports their treatment plan, struggle to apply recommendations consistently at home, or rely on conflicting information from non-clinical sources. Nutrition 101 was developed to provide patients with clear, structured education that reinforces — rather than replaces — provider guidance.

I’ve worked with dietitians before, but Julie’s approach is different. She takes the time to understand your lifestyle, labs, and history, then creates a plan that fits you, not a generic diet. I’ve seen real improvements in my energy and blood sugar since starting with her.

Working with Julie has been amazing. She helped me make small changes that added up to huge results. My metabolism has improved, my cravings are under control, and I feel supported every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Who is this course appropriate for?

The course is suitable for anyone who needs guidance on foundational nutrition principles, including patients managing chronic conditions, metabolic concerns, or lifestyle-based health goals.

Does this course replace medical care?

No. Nutrition 101 is strictly an educational resource and does not provide medical treatment or individualized clinical advice. Patients are encouraged to continue following their healthcare provider’s recommendations.

How is the course structured?

Nutrition 101 is delivered over 4 weeks in short, self-paced modules. Each module combines clear explanations, practical examples, and actionable tools so patients can gradually apply what they learn without feeling overwhelmed.

How does this benefit my practice?

By providing structured nutrition education outside the clinic, the course helps patients better understand and follow your recommendations. This can save time during visits, reduce confusion, and improve patient engagement and outcomes.

How do I refer a patient?

Providers can share the Nutrition 101 flyer and contact details with patients, who then enroll directly. For providers who want more information or a walkthrough of the course, a brief consult is available to discuss how the program complements patient care.
